Kent nursing faculty gets selected as fellow
Kent State University at Tuscarawas associate professor of nursing Dr . Denise M . McEnroe- Petitte has been selected for induction into the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing ’ s Academy for Associate Degree Nursing .
OADN celebrates all fellows of the AADN and their contributions to students , faculty , patients , communities and the nurse leaders of tomorrow . McEnroe- Petitte will be officially designated during the OADN 2020 Virtual Town Hall meeting at a later date .
The AADN was established to recognize those individuals who model exemplary dedication to associate degree nursing education and practice and have worked as change agents to advance health and education through associate degree nursing .
McEnroe-Petitte has been teaching nursing at the undergraduate level for the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing and the RN- BSN nursing programs at Kent State Tuscarawas since 1996 . Her career as a registered nurse began more than 40 years ago , working in a variety of roles from intensive care work
to management roles in a hospital . She also serves as the community engagement coordinator for the Kent State Tuscarawas campus .
McEnroe-Petitte earned a PhD at Capella University , an MSN at the University of Akron , a BSN at Kent State University and AS at Kent State University at Stark .

Zoar Golf Club will host the Senior Masters two-man scramble on Saturday , Oct . 3 .
This tournament is for those over 60 years of age . The entry fee is $ 60 per person , which includes golf , cart ( mandatory ) and skinpot .
