This is Regan Foster ’ s fourth year showing an animal at the fair . She is a member of Go Getters 4-H club and will show a chicken . She likes showing because she likes animals and getting to meet new people .
“ It ’ s sad that I won ’ t get to do things I normally do , like running around there all day taking care of my animals . I will miss showmanship ,” Foster said .
But Foster also is happy about being able to bring her animals home so they don ’ t have to be in hot barns . “ And so that kids whose parents work are not stressed ,” she said .
