CHS wraps up volleyball season
On Saturday afternoon , Oct . 24 at Union Local , the Coshocton Redskins volleyball team saw its 2020 season come to an end as they were defeated in the sectional finals by Union Local . The scores were 13-25 , 10-25 and 14-25 .
In her final match , senior Kindall Shaw led the ‘ Skins offense with 12 kills while Lindsay Bryant added four .
Defensively , it was Shaw again , along with Miyah Davis and Hailey Helter , as the trio of Redskins each recorded five digs .
Jalynn West had 19 assists , and Helter had three blocks .
The Redskins finished the season with a record of 9-14 .
Ridgewood
RHS falls to Fort Frye
Ridgewood lost to Fort Frye . The Generals were led by Hannah Maust , seven kills , four blocks , seven digs and four points ; Madisyn Colvin , seven kills , 10 digs and eight points ; Paige Slusser , seven kills , 10 digs and four points ; Ella , 26 assists , three kills and four digs ; Karissa Gress , four kills , four blocks and two points ; Ashley Green , two blocks , four points and two aces ; and Kelley Masloski , two kills , three blocks and three digs .
River View
RVHS beats St . Clairsville
Eleventh-seed River View volleyball won its sectional tournament match on Oct . 21 at St . Clairsville against the ninthseed host in three sets , 25-20 , 25-18 , 25-21 .
Leading the way for the Lady Bears were Kayla Dulgar with 27 assists , Cayla Shrimplin with 17 digs , Ki Stamper with 10 kills , and Carolyn Cox , Ashlyn Bible and Ashley Newell with five kills each . Newell added two blocks , and Stamper added four aces .
