By Marianne Austin
“ Scary , Creepy Halloween Cakes ” was the theme for the Coshocton BPW 16th annual cake auction held Oct . 30 in Frontier Power ’ s community room on South Second Street . Cake viewing and voting was from 2-4 p . m . with the auction beginning at 4 p . m .
Sheri Fortune from Agents Realty and Auction House kept things lively during the bidding . There were some great incentives along with the cake entries — for example , a case of bacon with condiments from Kraft Foods , a gift card for Kids America and a dozen doughnuts from Buehler ’ s , a lighted flag pole with the Blue Star Mothers entry , and other incentives including several gift cards from area businesses .
