The Coshocton County Veterans Council in conjunction with the Coshocton County Veterans Service Commission and office staff will conduct a Veterans Day ceremony on Thursday , Nov . 11 at 11 a . m . in front of the court house .

The main speaker will be Brady Melear , U . S . Army , retired , outreach coordinator with Freedom Hunters . The guest speaker will be Lynn Leach with the local Blue Star Mothers . The Walhonding Rube Band will provide patriotic music , and Sam Scott will sing the Armed Forces Medley . Taps will be played by Tim Vance , and Pastor Andrew Bird with the Church of the Nazarene will give the invocation and benediction .

The Coshocton Salvation Army Military Appreciation Day will be held Friday , Nov . 12 from 9-11 a . m . in the gym .

All Coshocton County veterans and their spouses are invited to enjoy a free breakfast of SOS , scrambled eggs , orange juice and coffee .

Bill Griffis will share about his time in the service , starting at 11 a . m . He was in the Marines during the Korean War and in the Air Force afterward . The event also will include a military display , socializing area and tables set up by the Coshocton County Veterans Service Office and the Blue Star Mothers .

The Salvation Army is located at 334 Chestnut St . Use the gym door .
