SUNDAY , OCT . 31 , 1971 Kelly ’ s Lounge and Bar is now open and operating . Located at 517 Main St ., the recently remodeled storefront offers lunch as well as alcohol . Additionally live music will be offered on Fridays , and a special mixed drink will be offered daily . The lounge is owned by Bob and Betty Jo Ryan of Coshocton Route 2 . WEDNESDAY , OCT . 28 , 1981 New Philadelphia hosted the Cardinal Conference cross country championship . While the host team won , a Coshocton runner went home with the big win . Rick Wilson , a junior , scored the championship title with a time of 12:52 , setting a course record in the process . Dover finished second , Ashland finished third , Dover fourth and CHS tied with Madison for fifth .. TUESDAY , OCT . 29 , 1991 In a 4-0 vote , West Lafayette council has decided to approve the expansion of its fire station . The $ 7,000 proposal was pitched at Monday night ’ s council meeting . “ We don ’ t have enough room really for all our
equipment and records . This way , everything under one roof ,” said Hill . The expansion will also include space for a state mandated training room and two additional garage spaces . MONDAY , OCT . 29 , 2001 Kiski Prep was the last barrier standing between CHS and the playoffs . Despite a rough start Coshocton managed to come out 45-20 and will now go on to face Newark Licking Valley in the first round . “ We relaxed a little bit at times defensively . We didn ’ t adjust well early but came back to put together a solid defensive
effort ,” said Coach Arganbright . WEDNESDAY , NOV . 2 , 2011 Dean ’ s Jewelry has finished its remodeling , which is
the first in its history . Dean ’ s came to Coshocton in 1965 and was located at 513 Main St .. It would move to the current location about 20 years ago . “ When we first opened in this location , the store was all pink ,” said co-owner Michelle Turner . “ Then a few years later , they painted everything green . And now , along with a remodel , we have brightened the space up with creams , golds and sage green . We added new wall displays , new carpet and about 40 feet of display space .”
