2023 soil and water poster contest winners were picked at the fair
Coshocton County fifth-graders prepared entries in the 2023 Conservation Poster Contest — the theme was “ Have You Eaten Any Soil Lately ” — after a school presentation on how all food can be traced back to the soil . Fourteen Best of Class entries were on display at the Coshocton SWCD Fair Display and judged by the public to determine the top three posters . A total of 1,099 eligible votes were cast .

Klein looks forward to the growth and improvements and said things are getting better .
To make the county stronger , Klein said , “ We need to continue to , and try harder to , keep things local — find a way to give contracts to a local contractor rather than an outside contractor .”
Klein would recommend LCC for others . “ It ’ s a great class for all community leaders . There ’ s always room for growth in leadership . I feel like I ’ ve gained a lot already . It makes me think , to stop , think and reflect , ‘ How can I be better ?’”
