Soccer honors handed out

Coshocton ’ s varsity boys soccer team tied for second in the MVL Small School Division . They were 3-5-1 in the league and 7-8-1 overall .

Sophomore Kabe Bylaw was the Goalkeeper of the Year and Player of the Year .

Bylaw also was on the MVL first team along with senior Aiden Braxton and junior Thomas Inglima . Seniors Owen Walters and Justin Shearn were on the MVL second team .

RIVER VIEW

Lady Bears pick up win

On Nov . 20 the River View girls bowling team opened their season at home against the visiting Indian Valley Lady Braves . The Lady Bears started the season

with a decisive victory of 1,869- 1,475 over the Lady Braves .

Leading the way for the Lady Bears were freshman Karley Stocker with a 317 ( PR ) twogame set and freshman Kaylie Bryan with a 297 ( PR ) two-game set . Also chipping in with a 136 ( PR ) game was sophomore Kylan Wesney .

RV boys soccer honored

River View ’ s varsity boys soccer team finished first in the MVL Big School Division with a 9-0-0 league record . Overall , they were 13-2-0 .

Junior Laired Williamson was named Defensive Player of the Year . He also was one of three who received Player of the Year honors . River View ’ s coach Vince Andrews was named the Coach of the Year .

River View athletes who received MVL first-team honors were Williamson , sophomore Parker Andrews , and juniors Hayden Walters and Cael Summers . Camden Albertson , a River View senior , was named to the second team , and senior Colin Addy received MVL honorable
