Ridgewood FFA attends convention
Ridgewood FFA took 14 members to Indianapolis , Indiana to the 97th annual National FFA Convention at the end of October . They also stopped in Kentucky and toured the Kentucky Horse Park and Churchill Downs .
Seven members earned their American FFA Degrees . Less than 1 % of FFA members reach this honor . Ridgewood ’ s recipients were Hunter Maple , Jessica Thompson , Alivia Mourer , Kyra Weaver , Kendall Hoffman , Logan Slaughter
and Lane Huff .
Johnathan Woodward also received his National Proficiency Award for Poultry Production . This means he was one of the top four in the nation for his supervised agricultural experience .
