Dance and rock featured in holiday shows at the PAC
The Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas has two upcoming shows to get the whole family into the holiday spirit .
Christmas in the Air is a holiday song and dance variety show coming Tuesday , Dec . 17 at 7:30 p . m ., and Luminare Christmas will bring a blend of rock and cheer on Thursday , Dec . 19 at 7:30 p . m .
Christmas in the Air is a family experience featuring a cast of synchronized , high-kicking dancers along with singers and actors . With special appearances by Santa and several of his holiday pals , Christmas in the Air is a holiday production with a mix of classic melodies and modern-day favorites .

The community is invited to join Prairie Chapel Methodist Church on a bus trip to Lancaster , Pennsylvania from Tuesday through Thursday , July 8-10 , 2025 .
The group will leave from the church around 8:30 a . m . on Tuesday , July 8 to travel to Mannheim , Pennsylvania for accommodations at Lancaster Inn & Suites in Mannheim , with an included breakfast each morning . There also will be a pickup at the Newcomerstown McDonald ’ s . There will be a food break halfway to the destination that will be on your own . Bathroom breaks will occur as needed .
Dutch Apple Dinner Theater will serve a buffet the first evening at 6 p . m . with the showing of “ The Wizard of Oz ” at 7:30 p . m . ($ 75 per adult including show , meal , tax and gratuity ).
On Wednesday , July 9 , the bus will take the group to Sight & Sound Theater in Lancaster , Pennsylvania to see “ Noah ” ($ 85 per person ) at 10 a . m . for the 11 a . m . show . Hershey Farm Restaurant & Smorgasbord will serve lunch at 2:15 p . m . The price includes meal , beverage , tax and gratuity . You are free for the rest of the evening .
Thursday , July 10 will find the group traveling back to Ohio by way of the 911 Memorial in Shanksville , Pennsylvania . There is no cost for this . The group should arrive home early evening . There will be a stop midway for food ( on your own ), with drop-off in Newcomerstown and Prairie Chapel Methodist Church .
A deposit to hold your seat is $ 75 per person , due by Wednesday , Jan . 1 . Checks should be made out to Prairie Chapel Methodist Church with Lancaster Trip in the memo line . The cancellation policy is a full refund five weeks prior , except for bus fare . Otherwise , everyone else will need to pay extra . However , if you find another person to take your spot , that will be fine .
