Local Events Pictures with Santa: The Coshocton County Humane Society will have Pet Pictures with Santa at Tractor Supply on Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 1 to 5 p.m. Two free wallet-sized photos with a donation of food or litter to the Coshocton County Humane Society. Other photo sizes available are one 5x7 for $10 or a three-inch pin back button for $5. Village of Warsaw Christmas Celebration: 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 1. This year people can enjoy music playing in the gazebo from 6 to 6:30 p.m. prior to lining the street for the parade, which is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. The pa- rade is open to anyone who wants to come and be involved. Concert: The University Chorus at The Ohio State University at Newark will present its autumn concert, “From Classical to Classic Horror,” on Monday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Found- ers Hall Auditorium, 1179 University Dr., at the Ohio State Newark campus. The concert is free and open to the public. Christmas in the Village: West Lafayette will have Christmas in the Village on Saturday, Dec. 7. The Lions Club is having a pancake breakfast at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church from 7:30 to 10 a.m. A Reindeer Run will be at Burt Park with registration at 9 a.m. and the run at 10 a.m. Registration is $20. There will be a craft show at the First Baptist Church from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Christ- mas parade begins at 1 p.m. The West Lafayette Royalty are doing a sensory toy dive and toys can be dropped off at the Baptist Church. Bluegrass Music: Three Rivers Bluegrass Music and Relay for Life Team Alana presents bluegrass music at Coshocton Village Inn and Suites, 115 N. Water St., on SR 541 beside McDonald’s, once a month. Admission is $7 per person; those 12 and under, no charge. Featured band is from 7 – 9:15 p.m. Acoustic jam is 9:30 – 10:30 p.m. For information, call 740-498-8456. The next event will be Dec. 28 and will feature a jam session. Announcements Flu Shots: The Coshocton City Health Department, 400 Browns Lane, will have walk-in clinics for flu shots through the month of November on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m. Insurances accepted: Medicare, Medicaid, Humana Medicare, Aetna Medicare, Medigold, The Health Plan (Medicare), Medical Mutual of Ohio, Molina, CareSource and Paramount. Tuscarawas Township Meeting: Tuscarawas Township will have their second meeting for the month of November on Wednesday, Nov. 27 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Free Family Law Clinic: There will be a free family law clinic for Coshocton County throughout the year. This advice clinic is for low-income individuals. Sign in is at 1:45 p.m. the day of the clinic and is limited to 16 qualified individuals. It will be held at the Coshocton County Juvenile Court, 426 Main St., Coshocton. Also, the board has moved its regularly scheduled meeting that was set for Dec. 10 at 8:30 a.m. to Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. Pretty Products Dinner: The next Pretty Products dinner will be at the Eagles on Friday, Dec. 13 at 5 p.m. Toys Accepted: Coshocton County Firefighter Toychest is accepting new unwrapped toys for low income families in Coshocton County. Benefits Spaghetti Dinner Benefit: There will be a benefit for Sabrena Smith-Weese on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Coshoc- ton Moose from 3 to 8 p.m. Spaghetti dinner is $6. Dinner includes spaghetti, bread, salad, drink, and dessert. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and an auction. Sabrena was diagnosed with malignant neoplasm of the upper third esophagus and lung cancer. Christmas Program: The annual Christmas program and treat will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1 at the New Moscow United Methodist Church. Snowball Fight: Kids infant through 18 are invited to a snow- ball fight and pizza party at Chili Crossroads Bible Church, 29445 CR 10, Fresno, Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. Fun games, Bible memory, and snacks. Christmas Hymn Sing: Bible Fellowship Church will host it’s first Christmas Hymn Sing at River Greens Golf Course Banquet Hall, 22749 S/R 751, West Lafayette. Fundraiser: There will be a chili dinner at the Elks Lodge, 434 Chestnut St., Coshocton as a fundraiser for Sabastian Wethy, who is recovering from baby shaken syndrome, from noon to 6 p.m. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a bake sale. On Sunday, Dec. 15, there will be a pool tournament at noon with a Calcutta at 1 p.m., $20 entry fee. There will also be a spaghetti dinner at 1 p.m. and a live auction at 3 p.m. In the evening, Tyndal Creek Band will play and entry is by donation. Cookie and Candy Sale: Isleta UMC will have their 13th annu- al “Christmas Cookie & Candy” sale in the church basement on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8 to 11 a.m. There will be hundreds of delicious holiday cookies and candies to choose from, and you can make up your own assortment of favorites.
