The annual event was held Friday evening, Nov. 22 and ushered the holiday season into Downtown Coshoc- ton. For more photos, visit www.coshoctonbeacontoday.com. COSHOCTON – Miracle on Main brought the magic of Christmas to Main Street in Coshocton on Friday, Nov. 22. People lined the street well before the start of the parade to en- sure they had the perfect spot to see Santa as he made a special trip to see the children of Coshocton. Before the parade, the Coshocton Public Library had their annual Holiday Open House. They have been having special activities prior to the parade for at least 13 years. “We do this as a way of participating in Miracle on Main and being part of the community festivities,” said Holli Rainwater, outreach coordinator for the library. “It’s just a lot of fun to do because we get people who don’t normally come to the library. So, this is just to promote how much fun we have here. It’s also a way of thanking people for supporting the library over the year.” The library had a lot of fun activities for children of all ages. There were crafts for little kids, crafts for teens and adults, live music by “A Gathering of Dulcimers”, refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library, and the famous pictures with Rudolph.
