Garden club donates to Clary Gardens , Coshocton is Blooming
The Town and Country Garden Club recently donated funds to Clary Gardens and Coshocton is Blooming to support their construction projects and other improvements .
A check for $ 250 was presented to Jandi Adams , executive director of Clary Gardens , who was a featured speaker at the Region 8 Meeting of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs at Grace United Methodist Church in Coshocton . A check for $ 500 also was presented to Debbie Gaumer , who represented Coshocton is Blooming and also was a featured speaker at the event .
“ We ’ re very pleased to assist with these projects , which align very well with the goals and purposes of our club ,” said Phyllis Debnar , club president . “ We raise funds with several projects each year including the annual plant sale held in early May on the court square and our annual in-house club auction . The Town and Country Garden Club seeks ways to make lasting improvements for our club membership as well as the community at large .”
The Town and Country Garden Club organized in 1947 and is one of the oldest clubs in the region . The club has been affiliated with the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs since 1947 . The club purpose
