Celebrate Giving Tuesday on Nov . 29

Last year $ 2,600 turned into $ 5,200 .
Coinciding with the Thanksgiving holiday , Black Friday and Cyber Monday , Giving Tuesday encourages people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities , give to charities and causes they support , and help create a better world .
Taking place Nov . 29 , the Tuesday after Thanksgiving , Giving Tuesday aims to harness the power of social media to create a national movement around the holidays for giving , similar to how Black Friday and Cyber
Monday have become days that are synonymous with holiday shopping .
