Children of all ages share what they are thankful for

Even the youngest readers had a lot to say when asked what they are thankful for this holiday season . Here ’ s a look at what some of them shared .
“ I ’ m thankful for my family , my mom and how hard she works , the things I get to do , my animals , my house . I ’ m thankful for everything I have in my life ,” said Brylee , who is 8 .
Eleven-year-old Aubree is thankful for her family , friends , music and her dog , Charlie . Her 6-yearold brother Jaxson said he is thankful for Mommy , Daddy , Sissy , Grandma , Nana and both Papas .
Siblings Zoey and Owen also have a lot to be thankful for .
“ I ’ m thankful for my teacher Mrs . Raber , my family and my school ,” said Zoey , 5 . Her 9-yearold brother Owen said , “ I ’ m thankful for my family , my school and books to read .”
Another brother and sister duo to answer The Beacon ’ s question was Landon and Lucy .
“ I ’ m thankful for Santa , Jesus and my Christmas tree ,” said Landon , 4 . His 6-year-old sister Lucy said , “ I ’ m thankful for the Bible , Mommy , Daddy , Jesus and a nice , warm home .”
Mylee , who is 11 , said , “ I ’ m thankful for friends , family , food and water .”
Twelve-year-old Jamie said , “ I ’ m thankful for my family and for God .”
Jamie and Mylee ’ s brother Edison had a fun response to the question . “ I ’ m thankful for toys and dinosaurs ,” the 4-year-old said .
Sophie , who is 7 years old , is thankful for her family , her toys and that she has a house to live in .

At Keene Elementary School , second-grade teacher Andrea Walsh had her class spend a week working on Thankful Lapbooks for Thanksgiving .
for his family , his house , video games , and all the support he gets at school and at home .
Mommy and family topped 6-year-old Donald ’ s list of things to be thankful for .
Ellis , age 12 , is thankful for her family , friends , pets and her house . Her 10-year-old sister Emma had family , their home , dog Mia and cat Hazel on her list .
Taytum , 9 , is thankful for soccer . Bodey , 7 , is thankful for veterans . Carter , 4 , is thankful for his mommy , and Jax , 11 , is thankful for his dad .
George , 4 , had Mommy , Daddy and Sonic on his list . Ellie , 3 , had Gigi and Minnie Mouse on hers .
Lane , 8 , is thankful for his parents and home , and Alli , 4 , is grateful for her toys .
Roland , 7 , said he was thankful for his family , food , water , home and the world . Duncan , 5 , had school , Mom and Dad and threw a twist on his list by adding pretzels .
Brayden , 10 , put family and electronics on his list .
Lily , 7 , is thankful for her whole family . Violet ,
4 , is thankful for everything including “ getting to cook with Mommy and people that do work .”
When asked what they are thankful for , Aaron , 12 , said pizza . Thelin , 9 , said God , and Alyssa , 6 , said that she is alive .
Elaina , 8 , is thankful for her mom fixing her food and for spending time with friends and family . McKenzie , 5 , is thankful her parents feed her food and for her dog .
Twelve-year-old Zachary is thankful for his grandma and grandpa for raising him and keeping him safe . He also is thankful for being able to have stuff to be thankful for .
Tyler , 12 , said , “ I ’ m thankful for my family
being healthy and happy .”
When asked what she is thankful for , Sadie , 9 , said , “ School , because I love my teacher and my friends .”
Jameson , 5 , answered the question with family and toys . Rhett , 6 , and Bronson , 11 , each had family on their list . Aislin , 5 , said toys . Huxson , 6 , said the family farmhouse , water , power and heat , and Garrett , 5 , said food and trees .
Collier , 12 , said , “ My family and friends and all of the things I have at home and the jobs you guys ( family ) have and the education I have .”
Kaisley , 3 , said , “ Mommy , Daddy , candy and me .”
Khristopher , 9 , said he is thankful for playing games with his dad . Liam , 8 , said he is thankful for his life , and Katie-Jeann is thankful for playing makeup with her mommy .
Emma , 10 , is thankful for family , and Scarlett , 5 , is thankful for her mommy , daddy and toys .
