Obituaries
Jacquelene John , age 78 , of Belleair , FL , passed away on October 28 , 2023 , peacefully in her home with family at her side . She was a fighter , a two time cancer survivor , Melanoma and Breast , she surrendered herself to God ’ s will and heavenly peace through Jesus Christ .
Jackie was born on May 27 , 1945 , to the late William Hope Summit and Elsie Grace Brown in Canton , OH . She grew up with her three sisters and two brothers in rural Fresno OH .
Jackie attended West Lafayette High School her senior year where she was cheerleader and majorette and graduated with the class of 1963 . Upon graduating she immediately went on to Columbus , OH and started her first job with Hartzler Mortgage Company beginning her early career in banking and finance .

were married on March 5 , 1966 , and they enjoyed their time and life together for the next 57 years in a row . They had three children , and she was so passionate about her new family , she forfeited her banking and finance career for family time . She cherished family holidays , vacations , and anything that brought the family together .
Jackie was incredibly creative and artistic . She brought a bounty of beauty to everything she did ; especially with her pencil paintings , Christmas present wrappings , and jewelry making . She shared her love of art and crafting , mentoring her daughter , granddaughters , and others . She was a quiet , unconditional loving , giving , caring , and selfless soul . She touched the lives of so many people . She will truly be missed and will never , ever , be forgotten .
Jackie is survived by her husband and children ; Bradley and daughter-inlaw , Terri and two grandchildren , Evan and Loran ; Tara ( Kyle ) Tague and three grandchildren , Rebecca , Taya , and Kayla and one great grandchild , Anatalia ; Chad and daughter-in-law , Michon and two grandchildren , Eli and Jaedyn ; her two sisters , Martha ( Dick ) Owens and Sherrie ( John ) Grimm ; and one brother , Robert Summit and sisterin-law Georgia .
The family would like to thank Pinellas County Hospice Yellow Team for their compassionate care . They ’ d also like to thank all the residents on Shirley Ave ., Bellaire FL , family , and friends for their help , caring , and prayers .

Ruth Ann Tyson , age 78 , passed away on Saturday , November 11 , 2023 .
Born October 14 , 1945 , she was the daughter of the late Howard Daniel Hothem and Edith Iola ( Stiner ) Hothem .
Ruth Ann attended and graduated from the Nationwide Beauty Academy and worked at Dawn ’ s County Charm until she retired in 2015 . She was also a longtime Ohio State fan and was a caring dog mom to her beloved dog , Sammy .
Ruth Ann leaves behind to cherish her memory her son , Greg Tyson and his wife , Marianne , of Pensacola , FL ; and her grandson , Zander Tyson , of Pensacola , FL ; her sister , Janice Matiko , of Beaver Falls , PA ; her brother , Paul Hothem , of Mount Vernon , OH .
In addition to her parents , Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her husband , Gary Edward Tyson ; her brothers , Keith , Wayne ,

and Owen Hothem ; and her great-granddaughter Fern Ann Tyson .
A memorial service will be held at a later date .
