Coshocton High School senior Ella Bible was surrounded by family and friends on Nov . 10 when she signed her letter of intent to run track at Ashland University .

“ I ’ m extra proud of her ,” said Kristy Ogle , Ella ’ s mother . “ She has the most work ethic I ’ ve ever seen in my entire life . She sets goals and obtains them .”

Ogle is thrilled with her daughter ’ s choice of schools . “ I love the campus ,” she said . “ It ’ s small and family orientated . I feel safe with her going there , and the track team embraced

Coshocton High School senior Ella Bible signed her letter of intent to run track at Ashland University .

The Midtown Men will bring holiday hits to the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas on Wednesday , Dec . 15 at 7:30 p . m .

The Midtown Men , reuniting stars from the original cast of the Broadway smash hit , “ Jersey Boys ,” will ring in the Christmas season this year . This evening of songs and stories will feature Yuletide classics such as “ Winter Wonderland ,” “ Let It Snow ” and “ Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas ,” as well as their signature renditions of the greatest rock and roll hits of the 1960s .

The vocal group will treat their audiences to the songs of The Beatles , The Temptations , The Four Seasons and more . Additionally , The Midtown Men will perform their holiday single , “ All Alone on Christmas ,” which they recorded with Stevie

Van Zandt and members of Bruce Springsteen ’ s The E Street Band .

Bible plans to major in education and wants to become a preschool teacher . She is excited to be able to pursue her dreams and still run track .

“ I love track ,” Bible said . “ Running makes me feel good . It ’ s an independent sport . I get to focus on me .”

Bible will be a four-year letter winner in track , where she competes in individual sprints and relays . She also is a three-year letter winner in volleyball and a two-year letter winner in basketball .

“ We are very proud of Ella ’ s accomplishments as a studentathlete and leader at Coshocton High School ,” athletic director Kevin Yoder said . “ Her success as a multi-sport athlete is a direct result of her hard work on the athletic fields . She is very involved in school activities and is an extremely kind-hearted and supportive individual that we are blessed to have in our school . We are going to miss her when she graduates but wish her great success at Ashland University .”

“ I ’ m excited to go to college and meet new people in a new atmosphere ,” she said .
