RVHS senior project focuses on 3 areas
Jessica Johnson ’ s River View senior project this year contains three projects in one . Her project goals are helping the community , the school and improving herself .
First , Johnson is the senior communications director . She is responsible for posting all senior information to social media and helping her mentor , Cindy Hemming , with all paperwork involving senior projects , community service and scholarship information .
Second , Johnson is responsible for increasing citizenship in the schools . So far this year , she was in charge of the 9-11 Senior Ceremony and planned the Veterans Day assembly . This again was recorded and shown due to social distancing COVID protocol in the auditorium . In addition ,

she is working on Christmas citizenship activities and National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Jan . 9 .
Johnson ’ s last project title is social media director for the football team . She runs the Instagram account for River View Football . She also creates
football Google documents for coach Hemming and organizes them into Google files .
By the end of April , Johnson will have logged approximately 200 hours . Upon graduation she plans to attend Miami University and major in psychology .
Grant applications are due on Dec . 17
The deadline for unrestricted grant applications for the first meeting of the Coshocton Foundation Distribution Committee for fiscal year 2022 is Friday , Dec . 17 .
In addition to schools , churches and government agencies , community organizations with a current 501 ( c )( 3 ) nonprofit designation may submit grant applications for consideration by the committee , which will meet in early September .
Information for criteria for applying organizations and a grant application may be found at www . coshoctonfoundation . org or by calling the office at 740-622-0010 .
Completed applications may be sent to the Coshocton Foundation , P . O . Box 55 , Coshocton , OH 43812 , or brought to the Coshocton Foundation office at 220 S . Fourth St . If delivering in person , use the mail slot in the front door or call the office to make other arrangements . Seven copies of the grant request are required to be submitted . All applications must be received in the office by Friday , Dec . 17 at 4 p . m . in order to be given consideration by the committee .
