Theodore “ Chester ” Barrick , 78 , of Coshocton , passed away at Altercare of Coshocton on Saturday , Nov . 7 , 2020 .

Chester was born in Greensburg , PA on July 7 , 1942 to the late Theodore Leroy Barrick and Kathryn ( Price ) Richard .

He retired as a custodian from Coshocton City Schools / Lincoln Elementary after 30 plus years of service . He also served in the U . S . Army , was an EMT for West Lafayette for numerous years and volunteered at

Niaomi Marie Cavey , expected infant daughter of Allysun ( Aslaksen ) and Christopher Cavey Jr ., passed away Nov . 5 , 2020 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville .

In addition to her parents , she is survived by a brother , Waylon Cavey ; her grandparents , Melissa and Eric Allen and Jamie and Danny Ward ; greatgrandparents , Kathy and Mike Aslaksen , Delores and Roger Hough , and Harry and Melanie Johnson ; her aunts and uncles , Jason and Mattie Gibson , Daisy Ward , Austin and Alex Cavey , Anna Cavey , and Draven Wolfe ; and her cousins , Mason and Jasovelle Gibson , and Atlas Cavey .

the Baltic Police Department . Chester was a member of the Coshocton Nazarene Church and Coshocton Sportsman Association . He enjoyed hunting , fishing , driving around through “ Gods Country ,” seeing all his former students from Lincoln Elementary and his love of McDonald ’ s coffee with five creams .

Chester is survived by his daughter , Kayla ( Jesse Wright ) Chapman of Conesville ; sister , Sandra Beard of Freemont ; nephew , Chris Barrick ; niece , Melissa Barrick Thompson ; and several other nieces and nephews .

Edna E . Shaw , 83 , of West Lafayette passed away Sunday , Nov . 1 , 2020 at her daughters ’ home . She was born in Coshocton , Ohio on July 19 , 1937 to the late Simon L . and Hazel ( Phillabaum ) Burkey .

Edna Worked as a home health aid up until she was 82 years old and was unable to work anymore . She was a member of the West Lafayette Church of the Nazarene ; she enjoyed playing cards , putting puzzles together and doing puzzle books .

Edna is survived by her husband , Walter Shaw ; children Debra Hooper , Carol Swaney , Kay Shaw , Mike ( Yolanda ) Shaw , Donna Shaw , and Walt ( Suzanne ) Shaw ; 12 grandchildren ; 21 great grandchildren ; 4 great great grandchildren ; brothers Russell , Cecil ( Rose ), and Vernon ( Jean ) Burkey ; sisters Donna Felton , Mary Burkey , and Sandy Banks .

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Bill and Kenneth Burkey ; and Valjean
