Holiday fun planned at library
There is something special about being in a library during the holiday season , and the Coshocton Public Library plans to deliver plenty of holiday cheer with festive decorations , special holiday programs and , of course , seasonal books , movies and music .
Our Town Coshocton ’ s Miracle on Main parade is back this year to kick off the holiday season in Coshocton , and the library is looking forward to the return of our annual holiday open house . Refreshments , take and make crafts for youth , and special guest Rudolph will be

The holiday open house at the West Lafayette Branch Library will be held Saturday , Dec . 4 from 10 a . m . to 3 p . m . in conjunction with the West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce Christmas in the Village community event . Hot cocoa and cookies will be provided , along with a make and take holiday craft for youth and a door prize drawing . Those watching the West Lafayette Christmas Parade can stop by the branch library before or after the parade to enjoy the festivities .
Adults are invited to a Christmas-inspired game of trivia on Wednesday , Dec . 15 at 6:30 p . m . at the Coshocton Public Library . Participants are encouraged to bring their A game as prize opportunities will be available . Registration is required to attend and can be completed at www .

Whether snagging a Black Friday deal or perhaps receiving a special surprise on Christmas morning , you may find yourself faced with trying to master a new device during the holidays . The library offers individual tech assistance to those who need help setting up a new device , are struggling with their current device or would like to learn more about a specific app , software or digital library service . Appointments can be made by calling the library at 740-622-0956 and setting up a 30-minute session with the library ’ s adult services manager . This service is for educational purposes only . The library cannot repair , fix , troubleshoot or diagnose malfunctioning devices or software .
What better way to celebrate the holiday season than to make a festive gingerbread house ? For the children or teens in your life , there will be several opportunities in December to accomplish just that . On Tuesday , Dec . 14 , children age 0-12 and their families can attend a gingerbread house building workshop at either 5:30 p . m . or 6:15 p . m . at the Coshocton Public Library . On Wednesday , Dec . 15 , teens grades 7-12 will get to create their own gingerbread house while enjoying a holiday edition of Plugged and Unplugged from 2:30-5 p . m . at the Coshocton Public Library .
Finally , the West Lafayette Branch Library will host a gingerbread house workshop for both tweens and teens on Thursday , Dec . 16 at 5:30 p . m . Registration is required for all workshops and can be completed at www . coshoctonlibrary . org .
