Reservations going out for banquet
At a recent organizational meeting of the Warsaw Alumni Association Executive Committee, it was decided the 115th annual Warsaw Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, 23891 Airport Road, Coshocton. The church is located off U. S. Highway 36 across from Walmart.
David Dilly, Class of 1963, will serve as president, and the honor classes will be 1945, 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965 and River View 1970. Other officers serving this year will be Carol Cooper Gilmore, 1964, as presidentelect and Bee Buxton Lehner, River View 1966, as secretary / treasurer.
Dinner reservation will be limited to the first 150 registrants with a deadline of Saturday, July 26. Any graduate of River View High School who attended Warsaw

Any graduate of River View High School who attended Warsaw Elementary is eligible to attend the Warsaw Alumni Banquet.
Elementary is eligible to attend. The registration fee is $ 25 per person, and this will cover the cost of the meal of Swiss steak($ 18) and alumni dues($ 7). All graduates and guests will pay the same fee. Registrations will be sent to all honor classes and to those who attended the

banquet or paid their alumni dues within the past five years. Anyone who has not attended recently and desires to attend may call Jim Lawrence at 740-502-0603 or Bee Lehner at 740-502-1492 for a reservation.
A dinner with Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, garden salad, succotash, cheery cheese cake or Texas sheet cake, and rolls and a beverage will be served by Schumaker Farms. The registration forms will be mailed June 1. All who desire to attend should send their reservations in early.
Ten scholarship recipients in the River View Class of 2025 will receive $ 12,000 in awards at the River View Awards Assembly. Their names will be announced at the banquet.
“ A History of the Coshocton County Basketball League and Tournament” will be available at the banquet for a $ 30 donation to the Alumni Scholarship Fund. These booklets cover 1931-62 and are taken from newspaper reports. Each year is a volume of the history of basketball and tournament action in Coshocton County. Some of the volumes also include baseball county league competition.
