Career center places first at the Envirothon
Team Wolf Pack from the Coshocton County Career Center took first place in the Virtual Area 3 Envirothon . Eight teams participated from Coshocton County with three teams placing in the top 10 ( Wild Wolves CCCC at sixth and Ridgewood at eighth ).
The Envirothon competition tests students ’ knowledge of soils , forestry , wildlife , aquatic ecology and current environmental issues . This year ’ s national CEI theme is “ Water Resource Management - Local Control and Local Solutions .” While each student on a team is challenged to contribute his or her personal best , the score that counts at the end of the contest is the team score . Envirothon teams are comprised of five high school students .
The Ohio Envirothon will be held virtually June 14-16 . Online testing will take place June 14 with oral presentations in front of a
