CHS pounds New Lex 11-1 in softball action
Coshocton High School ’ s varsity softball team pounded New Lexington 11-1 .
The winning pitcher was Lindsay Bryant , who gave up six hits , had one walk and threw six strikeouts .
Kindall Shaw had a home run , Keeley Murray was three for four and Lindsay Bryant was two for four . Lydia Dawson , Hailey Helter , Taylor Moats and Alison Cox all had hits .

Zoar Golf Club hosts annual spring 2-man
Zoar Golf Club hosted its annual spring twoman scramble on May 1 . The tournament , advertised as “ tough pins from the tips ,” wasn ’ t for the team of Shayne Bishop and Kenny Koppervich , who fired an 11-under-par 61 to win by one shot . The win was worth $ 500 .
Ryan Stefanski and Bobby Spino tied with Tommy Miano and Connor McCauley for second with 62s . Each team collected $ 230 .
There were two teams at 64 strokes : Mike Simpson and Ryan Culbertson , the 2020 fall scramble winners , tied with Michael Renner and Mike Musacchia . Each team received $ 120 .
The Gasser brothers were solo fifth place as Matt and Brian were out in 32 strokes and played the back in 33 to earn $ 80 .
There was one skin : an eagle two on the parfour first . Drew Lavecchia and Matt Jurcevic collected $ 640 .
Thirty-four teams were entered , and 32 competed .
The Zoar Golf Club Senior Masters two-man scramble will be Saturday , May 8 , beginning at noon .
