Kamelid Kushers invited to the Memorial Day parades
The Kamelid Kushers held its fourth meeting on April 23 following the Llama Clinic .
Members were given an update on the llama show in Coshocton April 29-30 . Advisor Julie Branch told the club flower pots had been purchased and will be decorated and planted at the next meeting . Members are to bring five cards to go with the planters that will be given to the residents of Windsorwood in Coshocton . The club has been invited to walk with
Millfork Valley 4-H holds its meeting
Millfork Valley 4-H Club had its meeting on April 25 at Roscoe United Methodist Church .
The energy report was given by Garret Shannon on six ways to save energy . The health report was given by Taylor Kent on steps to hand washing . The safety report was given by Gavin and Shannon on ways to remove a tick . Recreation was done by Elsee Mencer . The game played was human scavenger hunt . Demos were done by Brady Slaughter on yeast , Kent on how to show a rabbit , and Gavin and Shannon on diseases of goats .
The club will put flags on graves on Tuesday , May 23 at 5:30 p . m . Meet at Pleasant Hill Church on state Route 541 . Pearl Valley Cheese orders are due Tuesday , May 9 , and the next public speaking opportunity will be Sunday , June 4 at Frontier Power .
The next meeting will be May 9 at 6:30 p . m . in the RUMC gym . their llamas in both the Coshocton and Walhonding Valley Memorial Day parades .
Ava Donnell gave her demonstration on how and why vaccines and vitamins are given to llamas . Madi MacDonald gave her demonstration on llama eyes , and Kora Cramblett gave her demonstration / quiz to members on plants being friends or foes to a llama ’ s diet . Millfork Valley 4-H Club participated in Clover Days at Tractor Supply on April 29 . Clovers were sold at one dollar apiece to help support 4-H . Club members passed passed out hot dogs and drinks .
BF-98576 was on listening to storm warnings .
The next meeting will be held Wednesday , May 10 at the Branch building at 5:30 p . m . Demonstrations will be given by Annie Ward and Avie and Elyn Wright .
