Coshocton County United Way held its annual recognition breakfast on May 18 at Coshocton Village Inn and Suites . The breakfast gives United Way and partner agencies the opportunity to thank those who support their campaign .

“ Today we are thanking our donors for the

2022-23 campaign year . We are presenting them with awards and breakfast . We try to do this annually . This was our first year doing it post pandemic , so it is great to have everyone come out again and continue to show their support for the United Way ,” said Emma Mitchell , director of United Way for Coshocton County .

Award criteria was as follows : Bronze Award , $ 250- $ 499 ; Silver Award , $ 500- $ 999 ; Gold Award , $ 1,000- $ 10,000 ; and President ’ s Award , $ 10,000 or more .

For the third year in a row , McWane Ductile received the Top Giver Award . The award was accepted by Debbie Ringwalt .

“ This is awesome ,” she said . “ This wouldn ’ t be possible without our employees contributing . This really gives back to the community .”

“ We ’ re here to celebrate the 2023 campaign . Corporate sponsor Genesis Healthcare sponsored the 2022-23 campaign , and we are ever so grateful . We raised

$ 279,000 , which was 93 % of the goal ,” said Steve Oster , United Way board president and superintendent for Coshocton Developmental Disabilities .

Agri-businesses Awards raised $ 3,900 . The winner of the Gold Award with 100 % participation was Coshocton Grain , and the Silver Award went to Tri-Mac Farms . The President ’ s Award went to Coshocton Regional Medical Center and Cleveland Cliffs .

Coshocton County schools raised $ 31,500 as a whole , which means 98.9 % of its goal . Coshocton City Schools raised $ 13,000 .

River View staff and students raised $ 7,900 . The Gold Award went to River View Central Office , RV High School staff and RV High School Student Council . River View Junior High staff received the Bronze Award . The Silver Award was presented to Keene Elementary staff , Warsaw Elementary staff and Conesville Elementary staff . The Ridgewood staff and students ’ total was $ 2,900 . The Gold Award went to Ridgewood Elementary staff and Ridgewood Middle School . Ridgewood Elementary students received the Silver Award , and a Bronze Award went to Ridgewood High School staff . Coshocton County Career Center raised $ 2,750 .

Professional Division Awards raised a total of $ 33,250 , 86 % of their goal . Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices received a Gold Award . With 100 % participation , Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic received the Silver Award . Erwin Family Eye Care , First Step Family Violence Intervention Services , Jacob Vanaman Agency and Reed Family Dental also received the Silver Award . The Bronze Award was presented to
