Miller named new principal of Ridgewood Middle School
Ridgewood Middle School announced the appointment of Shawn Miller as its new principal , effective Aug . 1 .
Miller ’ s career spans 23 years of dedication to the field of education , with contributions at Tusky Valley and Strasburg school districts . His background includes roles within Strasburg
Leadership and PBIS teams .
His expertise extends from teaching middle school social studies and technology to serving as a Project Lead the Way instructor and intervention specialist for the past 15 years . He also has played a role in teaching leadership classes to high school students .
Described as a servant leader , Miller is known for his collaborative approach . His vision for Ridgewood Middle School is centered on building a culture of high expectations , with a focus on student-centric practices , consistency and active listening .

Kennedy Wright of Warsaw has been named to the spring dean ’ s list at Ohio Wesleyan University .
To earn dean ’ s list recognition , Ohio Wesleyan students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes .

of 3.5-3.699 for the reporting term are named to the dean ’ s list . Fulltime status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall , winter / spring and summer .
