Enjoy Tellin ’ ‘ Tails ’ Around the World at the museum this summer
Animals have been important to people all throughout history . How do animals influence the lives of people all around the globe ?
Children age 4-11 will have a chance to be mini-folklorists on Fridays at 10 a . m . from June 4 through July 23 at the Johnson- Humrickhouse Museum . They will learn the answer to this question and several more .
Each week children will talk about a different animal and their importance to different cultures . Each child also will create and take home a craft . Plus , children will receive a stamp on their Tales & Tails stamp card ( available at the museum ). Ten stamps collected will equal one free pass to the Lake Park Aquatic Center .
Admission is $ 1 per child per session . Due to COVID , children will be kept in family groups while social distancing from other children and staff members . Families will be allowed to explore the museum after each session . Space is limited , and reservations are required .

Overholts celebrate 70th
Francis and Helen Overholt will celebrate 70 years of marriage on June 16 . They were married at the West Lafayette Methodist Church on June 16 , 1951 . They have lived all their lives in the West Lafayette area , except when Francis was in the U . S . Air Force .
Francis Overholt worked at Jones Metal , operated his own excavating business , and retired from the AEP Power Plant . Helen Overholt worked for Shaw Barton before becoming a full-time mom . She was an active volunteer in the area , serving as a Girl Scout leader for more than 30 years and was an active Ridgewood Booster parent for many years .
They raised four children together : Steve , who is married to Maria Stout ; Tina , who is married to Tim Okel ; Dave , who is married to JoMarie Wegner ; and Linda , who is married to Mike Ondayko . Francis and Helen have 11 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren .
A small family celebration will be held . Help them celebrate their very special 70th anniversary by sending them a card to Francis and Helen Overholt , 53648 Township Road 158 , West Lafayette , OH 43845 .

World is being presented in conjunction with the Coshocton Public Library , Clary Gardens , Historic Roscoe Village and the Pomerene Center for the Arts through the Tales and Tails program . Summer programming will be offered throughout the month of June and July at each location . Tellin ’ “ Tails ” Around the World is sponsored by Walmart Coshocton .
The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located in Historic Roscoe Village at 300 N . Whitewoman St . in Coshocton . Museum hours in June and July are noon to 4 p . m . Monday through Sunday .
