US Metal Exteriors to unveil untapped products

Being in the metal roofing business for 14 years , Susan Abbott discovered a lot of untapped products in the market so she decided to do something about it .
That ’ s when U . S . Metal Exteriors was formed . The company is ready to unveil those untapped products to contractors , architects and do-it-yourselfers in the Knox County area . The company will be hosting a grand opening celebration on Friday , May 17 , from 10 a . m . to 4 p . m . at its showroom at 29071 Coshocton Road , Howard .
“( As owner of Ohio Metal Roofings ), One of the things that I saw , doing the Columbus Home Shows and stuff , that nobody knew about any of the new products that were out in the market . There were no places that showed them ,” Abbott said . “ I ’ d try to get them and I ’ d have to call the manufacturers and I ’ d have to do all the research . And then I ’ d have to set it up with the distributor and the dealer and let them know that they even have the products they could sell . It was frustrating . I said people need to have the access to this stuff . So that ’ s how this all came about . I wanted a lot of the products I had researched to bring in for my clients on the other side of the business .”
There will be an ax throwing contest , door prizes and lunch provided for those in attendance . The open house will also include vendors from several different companies , including ProVia , Ace Clamp , Drexel Metals , PAC-CLAD , CougarPaws ,
The US Metal Exteriors Manufacturing Facility and Showroom at 29071 Coshocton Road features several products available from the company . The company will have a grand opening celebration on Friday , May 17 , from 10 a . m . until 4 p . m .
EDCO , Sharkskin and MS Metal Sales . They will be able to answer questions and show visitors their wares .
“ We ’ re hoping we can get enough contractors and architects in , just to kind of see what we have to offer . To see what we have is different . It ’ s not the run of the mill ,” Abbott said . “ One of the things we are focusing on here are products that will last . Not cheap products : things that are durable . The companies that we represent are all good companies backed by good warranties – lifetime warranties , transferrable warranties , and they actually stand behind them .”
