“ I liked seeing the waterfall , and I learned about species down in the creek ,”

The students rotated through several stations during their time at Clary Gardens . They explored creeking with OSU Extension staff , learned about wild animals with wildlife officer Jerrod Allison , discussed pollinators with Master Gardener Brenda Junkin , learned about the pond by the pavilion from Clary Gardens staff and practiced yoga with Dawn Adams .

“ I liked yoga ,” Zaeden Holmes said . “ We learned different poses .”

Wesley Grandstaff learned dragonflies and damselflies look very similar . Madison Caley liked seeing the tadpoles and the fish .

“ The fish are pretty ,” she said . “ We learned they have predators like raccoons and birds .”

Jodi Morrison , the educational coordinator at Clary Gardens , showed the students how happy food makes the koi fish .
