Youth leadership celebrates class of 2021

Coshocton County Youth Leadership held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2021 on Wednesday , May 5 at the M Event Centre , located on the grounds of Coshocton KOA .
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , guests were limited to family only , but that did not detract from the evening ’ s celebration . Treated to presentations by the young philanthropists , audience members listened as the youth took turns at the podium to describe their Coshocton Foundation trustee ’ s “ Pay It Forward Project .”
By the end of the presentations , each described the personal impact the act of philanthropy had on them . These young leaders donated to local nonprofit organizations , the local animal shelter , and national and international organizations that serve individuals with illnesses and victims of the modern-day slave trade . It was a night of gratitude for the gift of a community that repeatedly gives back to and supports its young adults .
Graduates of the Coshocton County Youth Leadership Class of 2021 include Coen Bible , Britton McCoy , Allie Mizer , Jillian Stamper , Liam Stevens-Woolery , Cole Tatro , Benjamin Unkefer , Michaela White and Melany Wine of River View High School ; Olivia Blust , Katie Collins , Alec Laaper , Keeley Murray and Judah Nelson from Coshocton High School ; and Taura Dennis from Ridgewood High School .
