Nelson earns several honors for soccer

C o s h o c t o n H i g h School senior Judah Nelson has been playing soccer since he was 3 years old . Next fall he will continue his soccer career at Ashland University , where he plans to major in computer science .
“ I enjoy the camaraderie I share with my teammates to compete for the same goal . I have learned how to make quick decisions under pressure . I have also learned how to handle adversity when things don ’ t work out your way . There are no timeouts in soccer , so you have to learn to make adjustments on the fly .”
Nelson has been chosen for several honors for his soccer playing . He earned All-Region , MVL Offensive Player of the Year , MVL Midfielder of the Year , East District Div . III Player of the Year and Div . III first-team All-Ohio .

Coshocton High School senior Judah Nelson will continue his soccer career at Ashland University .
“ I was chosen firstteam Midwest Region , which is considered All- American honors ,” Nelson said .
When he is not on the soccer field , he participates in National Honor Society , football , baseball , soccer referee , Boy Scouts and Fellowship of Christian Athletes . His parents are Jim and Cheree Nelson .
