For the 35th year , the Pomerene Center presented Dogwood , an annual downtown salute to spring . The event , which features young musical talent from around the area , was brought back after a two-year absence due to COVID . This year it was held at the artPARK on Main Street , and Grace United Methodist Church provided a location on rainy days . Pictured performing at the church on May 3 are Ridgewood High School students . The Ridgewood High School Jazz Band and Dynamic Chorale led by John Lindig and Haley Evans have been a popular Dogwood participant for many years .
