Board of realtors gathers together for classes
On April 15 the Coshocton County Board of Realtors gathered for a day of continued education . As a licensed real estate agent , the Ohio Division of Real Estate requires its members to have 30 hours of continued education every three years .
As technology has evolved , online classes are always readily available , but the CCBOR sees value in offering in-person learning . Alec Hagerty owns and operates Knowledge Sponge Seminars and has instructed classes to agents for a number of years . Last month his session was on Disclosure and Real Estate Risk Issues . This was a threehour core law class the Ohio Division of Real Estate requires .
They also had Ohio
Division of Real Estate Superintendent Anne Petit join them . She explained the process of filing a complaint with the division . In prior years this two-hour presentation had only been provided to one other board of real estate professionals in Ohio .
The CCBOR extended an invitation to all agents who are members with the Guernsey Muskingum
Association of Realtors .
Attending the lunch portion of the day was county commissioner Rick Conkle and Coshocton County auditor Christine Sykes . The CCBOR would like to extend a thank you to Concorde Mortgage for providing refreshments for the day and Home Loan Savings Bank for providing attendees with breakfast .
