Mary Carroll
Mary Lou Carroll, age 91, of Coshocton passed away on April 24, 2025, at Altercare of Coshocton. She was born on June 15, 1933, in Baltic, Ohio at home to the late Walter Frederick and Alta Elnora( Everhart) Mc- Clure. On, April 20, 1955, she married the late Thomas G. Carroll, the former owner of Carroll’ s Men’ s Shop. Mary Lou was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her later years she was known as Sweet Mary.
Mary Lou is survived by her children, Thomas E. Carroll of Coshocton, James G. Carroll of Orlando, Fl., Leslie( Robert) Caton of Palmetto, Fl., and Jo Ellen( Kelly) McFarland of Grove City; grandsons, Christopher Carroll, Ryan Caton, Travis Carroll and Kelly Carroll; granddaughter, Lindsay( Caton) Evans; stepgrandson, James McFarland; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Jeremiah, Rachel, Noah, Josh, Dylan, Luca, Ellie, Mackenzie, Zaelyn, Ryver,

Registration will begin at 11 a. m. The cost is $ 85 per person or $ 340 per team. Lunch will be provided from 11 a. m. to

Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Robert L. McClure and sisters, Ruth A. Fisher, Betty J. Sheely, Ruby E. Wright, Eva Irene Tidball.
Much love and gratitude to those who cared for Mary late in her life, Michele and James“ Woody” Woodrum, the staff at Ohio Hospice, Windsorwood and Altercare of Coshocton.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11am with Pastor Mike Jansen officiating. Burial will follow at the South Lawn Cemetery.

Gloria Jean( Wilson) Stokes, 75, formerly of Walhonding, died Friday, April 25, 2025, at The Grove at Oakleaf Village in Columbus.
She was born April 4, 1950, to the late Donald E. and Virginia L.( Haines) Wilson. She married William Francis Stokes on June 7, 1968, who preceded her in death Jan. 27, 2024. Gloria retired from Kenyon College after almost thirty years. She was passionate about sports, from locally East Knox, to The Ohio State Buckeyes, to the teams in Cleveland. She was a long-time supporter and volunteer of East Knox Athletic Boosters and spent many years cooking for East Knox football players before

Funeral services were held 11:00 a. m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, Pastor Bart Rine officiated. Burial followed at Valley View Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation was from 5:00 to 7:00 p. m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. FischerFuneralHome. com
