May is Get Caught Reading Month
Challenge yourself to“ get caught reading” this month while enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Head to a park or sit on a bench outside the library at Coshocton or West Lafayette, read a few chapters, and soak up the sunshine.
Bookmarked Book Club A good book to get caught reading is one you can invite someone to buddy read with you. The library’ s May book club selection is“ Run, Rose, Run” by Dolly Parton and James Patterson, a thriller about a young singer-songwriter trying to flee the hard life behind her and claim her destiny. Bookmarked is held the fourth Tuesday of each month and offered at the Senior Center at 1 p. m. and the Coshocton County Main Library at 6:30 p. m.
Deluxe Edition Books Books with sprayed edges have been rising in popularity, with many added to the library’ s collection in recent months. To find a deluxe edition to show off when you get caught reading, browse the new section or look for one of the following at the library:

May Virtual Author Talks Get caught reading with a book by a featured author giving an online author talk this month.
Author of“ Thriving with Anxiety,” Dr. David Rosmarin will discuss how to turn anxiety into a strength, using it to become more self-accepting, connected to others and resilient. Rosmarin’ s virtual talk will be held Wednesday, May 7 at 2 p. m.
Liann Zhang will chat about her debut thriller“ Julie Chan Is Dead” on Wednesday, May 14 at 7 p. m. This dark and diabolical thriller tells the story of a young woman who steps into her deceased twin’ s influencer life, only to discover dark secrets hidden behind her social media façade.
Bestselling author Rachelle Bergstein will chat about her new book,“ The Genius of Judy: How Judy Blume Rewrote Childhood for All of Us,” on Wednesday, May 21 at 2 p. m.
