Chicken Dinner : The West Lafayette United Methodist Church will have a baked barbeque chicken dinner on Friday , April 7 from 4:30 – 6:30 p . m . in the fellowship hall of the church at the corner of Oak Street and Russell Ave . Craft Show : The Baptist Women Missions of the First Baptist Church of West Lafayette is sponsoring its first craft show on May 20 from 9 a . m . – 4 p . m . Workshop : OSU Extension is teaching a workshop for farmers ’ market food vendors and anyone selling cottage foods , baked goods , eggs or meat from your home or farm . The workshop will cover current regulations , including labeling requirements , for selling foods from farmers ’ markets , homes , and farms . There will also be some marketing tips and discussion on pricing strategy . The workshop will be Tuesday , March 14 from 7 - 8:30 p . m . in Room B100 in the County Services Building . There is no charge for the workshop , but please RSVP to the OSU Extension Office at 740-622-2265 by Monday , March 13 .
Institute : The 104th edition of the Robertsville Community Institute is scheduled for Tuesday , March 14 at the Robertsville Grange Hall on the corner of US Route 30 and Robertsville Road . Opening ceremonies begin at 10 a . m . and 1 p . m . and will be conducted by President Bill Walter . They will include informative talks , music , much humor and time to visit with old friends and make new ones . Admission is free ; however , a fee of $ 6.50 will be asked for the family-style sit down ham dinner at noon prepared and served by members of Robertsville Grange 1784 chaired by Dick and Geraldine Lotze . This is the only surviving institute in Stark County . All are welcome .
Pancake Day : Warsaw Lions will have their pancake day on Saturday , March 25 from 7 a . m . – Noon at the Warsaw Fire Department . Donation of $ 5 is requested and a donation of $ 3 is requested for ages seven and under . There will be a bake sale by the Warsaw UMC .
Line Dance : A line dance with a modern twist will be at Progressive Valley Grange , CR 93 , Coshocton County , on March 25 and April 8 from 7:30 – 10:30 p . m . Admission is $ 5 . Children under 10 years old admitted free . Cake walks , food stands . Music and instruction provided by Boots and Buckles Dance Troupe . Everyone invited . Use CR 93 exit near Unusual Junction on US 36 and head north on CR 93 . Grange is on the right just south of CR 2 .
Health Fair : The Rotary Club of West Lafayette will be sponsoring a health fair on Saturday , March 18 from 7 – 9 a . m . at the West Lafayette First Baptist Church , 688 East Main St ., West Lafayette . Fees Waived : Now through April 30 , Moose International will waive all first-year fees and dues for active military personnel and first responders and encourages local lodges and chapters to do the same . Helping Hands for Special Needs Scouts : A non-profit organization that is bringing awareness and support
to Special Needs Scouts by selling merchant discount cards for $ 10 . Proceeds will benefit those Special Needs Scouts with financial support for camp outings and assistance for a caregiver to attend with them if needed .
