In addition to the urgent care clinic , patients have the additional choices
of two walk-in health clinics in Warsaw and Newcomerstown . Both walk-in clinics can care for patients locally who need to be seen by a medical provider and cannot wait for an appointment . The clinic also creates an option for individuals to seek care who do not have an established primary care provider . A variety of services will be provided for community members with general illnesses and mild injuries .
Both clinics are now open , and no appointments are needed . The Warsaw walk-in clinic is located at 221 Railroad St . in Warsaw . The Newcomerstown walk-in clinic is located at 6307 E . State St . in Newcomerstown . This clinic operates within the Arrowhead Primary Care Clinic as an addition to the current services provided to the community of Newcomerstown . PUBLIC HEARING PY 2025 COSHOCTON COUNTY CDBG PROGRAM
Coshocton County intends to apply to the Ohio Department of Development for funding under the Community Development Block Grant ( CDBG ) Program , the HOME Investment Partnership Program , and other related state and federally funded programs administered by the State of Ohio . The County is eligible for several different types of PY 2025 programs provided the County meets applicable program requirements . These programs include but are not limited to the CDBG Community Development Allocation Program ; Neighborhood Revitalization , Critical Infrastructure , Target of Opportunity , and Downtown Revitalization Programs ; Economic Development and Public Infrastructure Program ; Residential Public Infrastructure Program ; Discretionary Program ; and , the Homeless and Supportive Housing Programs . The State of Ohio anticipates it will receive approximately $ 80 million from HUD to distribute on a statewide basis , based on the Consolidated Plan submitted to HUD . The Consolidated Plan contains additional information on the Community Development Block Grant ( CDBG )/ HOME Program , a federally funded program administered by the State and funded by HUD .
A Public Hearing to discuss the CDBG programs / grants available through the Ohio Department of Development will be held on March 17 , 2025 , at 10:00 a . m ., at the Coshocton County Commissioners Office , 401 ½ Main Street , Coshocton , Ohio 43812 . Coshocton County anticipates it will be eligible to apply for CDBG Community Development Allocation funds ( approximately $ 192,000 in previous cycles , amount not yet determined ), $ 500,000 in Critical Infrastructure grants , and up to $ 750,000 in Neighborhood Revitalization funds . Grants of up to $ 500,000 are available for Economic Development and Public Infrastructure . The CDBG Community Development Grant applications are due to the State in June 2025 . Other grants have an open cycle beginning at other times of the year .

The Public Hearing will provide citizens , communities , and local organizations with an explanation of eligible activities and program requirements for the CDBG / HOME programs , including the CDBG community development programs , the CDBG economic development programs , the CHIP and CDBG / HOME / OHTF housing programs , and other HUD funded programs . The CDBG / HOME programs can fund a broad range of activities including , but not limited to : economic development projects , infrastructure improvements , development and rehabilitation of housing , and neighborhood facilities improvements . The activities must be designed to primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons , aid in the elimination of slum and blight , or meet an urgent need of the community . Citizens of Coshocton County are encouraged to attend the public hearing to provide their input on the County ’ s CDBG / HOME programs .
