Health , Safety & Wellness Expo will be held March 15

The Health , Safety & Wellness Expo is an event that saves lives and helps make the community healthier .
The 10th annual event will be held Saturday , March 15 from 8 a . m . to noon in the Coshocton County Community Room , 637 Main St ., Coshocton . Event sponsors are the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce and Coshocton Regional Medical Center .
“ We ’ ve been holding it for more than 10 years but took time off from it due to COVID ,” said Amy Crown , executive director of the chamber . “ Coshocton Regional Medical Center helps us put this on and be able to make it a free event . We really appreciate

BUN , creatinine , sodium , potassium , chloride , carbon dioxide and calcium ) is $ 11 , lipid profile ( cholesterol , triglyceride and HDL ) is $ 18 , the thyroid stimulation hormone is $ 24 , and A1C is $ 14 . All the tests can be done for $ 79 . If you plan to have these tests done , a 12-hour fast is recommended .
In addition to CRMC , there will be around 40 other vendors offering everything from home safety tips and fitness and exercise programs to nutrition advice , rehabilitation tips after illness or injury and more .
“ People ’ s lives have been saved at the expo in the past ,” Crown said . “ There have been people with stroke-level blood pressures that have gotten help and even dermatologists who have recommended that spots be looked at . Rural health care is very important . We are fortunate we continue to have a hospital in our small community .”

“ We usually see 800- 1,000 people in four hours , and there will be plenty of parking ,” Crown said . “ There is extra space to walk over from the big library parking lot , the church across the street and at City Hall .”
