John R Guinther , 74 , of Coshocton , Ohio passed away at home Feb . 22 , 2021 surrounded by his loved ones from a prolonged battle with dementia .
John was born Jan . 11 , 1947 to the late Robert Guinther and Helen ( Barcus ) Guinther , who proceeded him in death .
He married his wife of 53 years Sandi K Guinther on July 28 , 1968 and was the loving father of Kathy L ( James ) Spizzirri of Coshocton , OH , Michael E . Guinther of Columbus , OH , and Lori

Victoria Lynn Nicholes

Victoria Lynn Nicholes , 68 , of Fresno , passed away Tuesday , Feb . 23 , 2021 at Aultman Hospital .
She was born Aug . 15 , 1952 in Cambridge to the late Rolo Eugene Yarnell and Wilda Fern ( Welch ) Yarnell Bliss , who later married the late Harry Albert Bliss .
She was a Newcomerstown High School class of 1970 graduate . She enjoyed working on their family farm and retired from Annin Flag Makers . She was a past member of the Bakersville Presbyterian Church , and had currently attended the Chili Crossroads Bible Church . Victoria was a past Key Leader for goats and adviser for 4-H . She was a past member of the Bakersville Community Quest Group , the Bakersville Ladies Aid , and the Coshocton County Antique Power Association . She was an avid gardener ; she loved her garden and houseplants and loved to sew costumes and various clothing articles for others .
Victoria married Jack Nicholes on Jan . 5 , 1973 who survives . She is also survived by one daughter , Tanya ( Mike ) Franks of Coshocton ; one son , Foster Joe ( Mandy ) Nicholes of Tazewel , VA ; grandchildren ,

Services were held Saturday , Feb . 27 , 2021 at 1 p . m . at the Chili Crossroads Bible Church with Pastor Neal Dearyan officiating . Burial followed at West Lawn Cemetery . Visitation was Saturday , three hours prior to the service from 10 to 1 at the church . Jacob E . Lautenschleger

Jacob E . Lautenschleger , 90 , of Coshocton and formerly of Baltic , died Thursday , Feb . 18 , 2021 at Majora Lane in Millersburg .
He was born in Dover on April 3 , 1930 to the late Floyd and Esta ( Goss ) Lautenschleger , Sr . and married Lois Nelson on April 6 , 1957 . She survives .
He retired in 1999 from Belden Brick in Sugarcreek after over 50 years . He was a member of St . Peters United Church of Christ at Fiat .
He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Sugarcreek American Legion .
In addition to his wife , he is survived by his son , Neil ( Marlene ) Lautenschleger of Fresno ; three grandchildren , Angela Lautenschleger of Fresno , Shena ( Matt ) Nichols of West Lafayette and Jason Lautenschleger of Fresno ; two great-grandchildren , Collin and Skye Nichols ; and his sister , Erma ( Glenn ) Lorenz of Coshocton .
In addition to his parents , he is preceded in death by two sisters ,

Family services were held Monday , Feb . 22 , 2021 at noon at Smith- Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Rev . Dennis Landaw officiating . Burial followed in Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette where military honors were conducted by the Sugarcreek American Post 494 . The family received friends on Monday from 10 a . m . to noon at the funeral home prior to the service .
Memorials may be made to St . Peters Fiat United Church of Christ ,
sister Ada Guinther and nine nieces and nephews as well as seven greatnieces and nephews and his beloved dogs .
John was a member of the US Navy for four years after graduating high school . John retired from AK Steel in 2001 where he worked for 30 years . John was part of many volunteer organizations in Coshocton including the Friends of the Animal Shelter where he and his wife Sandi rescued and re-homed hundreds of dogs and raised money for . His hobbies included coin and watch collecting , camping , traveling , visiting Amish country , spending time with family and friends , porch sitting , cooking out and shouting at the tv on Sundays while watching his favorite team the Cleveland Browns . John was a frequent visitor to Pearl Valley Cheese as it was the only place for him to get his favorite holey mild swiss .
John will be dearly missed by all who knew him as fun loving and always smiling .

Calling hours were held on Friday , Feb . 26 , 2021 from noon to 2 p . m . at Given-Dawson Paisley Funeral Home . In lieu of burial , a catered fellowship immediately followed visiting hours at The Warehouse Restaurant in Roscoe Village .

I am so thankful for all your support and kindness , particularly during the time of Lynn ' s illness and passing . Thank You for all the wonderful cards of encouragement , which I sincerely appreciated . I know Lynn would have felt so loved and honored , not just for cards , but also for the flowers , the gifts and monetary gifts to various charities she supported . I will miss Lynn every day , but with friends like you , I know I will be alright . I thank you for coming and supporting our family . Your presence was appreciated , at the funeral of our beloved Lynn , and brought me such comfort .
