Dickerson is a native of Coshocton and has been married to Nancy for over 40 years . He retired from Asplundh Tree Expert Company and has recently retired from the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle , where he served as both associate pastor and head steward .

Dickerson presently serves on the Frontier

Power Board of Directors , along with sitting on the board of directors of the Ohio Electric Cooperative in Columbus .
