Keene Alumni
celebration planned
KEENE – Th e offi cers of the Keene Alumni Association
met to make plans for the annual banquet at 6 p.m. on
May 26 at Keene United Methodist Church Fellowship
Hall.
Dinner will be served by the Keene United Methodist
Church and will consist of baked steak, baked potatoes,
green beans, tossed salad, pie, rolls, and drinks. Recog-
nition of the oldest man and woman alumnus as well as
the annual honored alumnus award will be presented.
Th e dinner is $16 per person and this includes dues.
Forms will be mailed around April 25. If you do not re-
ceive an invitation and want to attend, write to: Marilyn
Wyler, 55626 TR 176, Fresno, OH, 43824, or call 740-
545-7458 to make reservations. Reservations should be
returned to Wyler by May 18.
Th e River View class of 1966 will be the honored class.
Th ey will share many memories of their class and teach-
ers including fond memories of Keene High School.
Th e association offi cers include President Paul Eber-
wine, Vice President Stewart Henderson, Secretary/
Treasurer Marilyn Wyler, Corresponding Secretary
Carol Miller, and Historian Dorothy Lowe Dalton.

Commissioners approve agenda

COSHOCTON – Th e Coshocton County Commissioners
met Wednesday, March 21 for a regular board meeting.
During the meeting, they approved and reviewed:
• Received the dog warden’s report for the week
ending March 19 with four dogs picked up by the
warden, one dog brought in as a stray, one dog
destroyed, 25 dog licenses sold, 16 late fees paid, eight
dogs sold, four dogs redeemed, six dogs per owner
surrender, 11 citations issued, 28 calls handled, $20
in boarding fees collected, for a total of $802 in fees
collected.

• A motion to sign a request for payment and status
of funds report for grant S-C-17-1AP-1 in the amount of
$22,936 as requested by John Cleek, CDC of Ohio
• A motion to sign a contract with Roscoe Village
Foundation for the May 2 annual county CORSA
training in the amount of $100 for the use of the
conference room on the ground level of the Roscoe
Visitors Center
• A motion to sign the proposal for the subsurface
exploration and report for the 724 Walnut St. Lot,
GCI proposal number 17G0742 in an amount not to
exceed $9,000 as requested by Wachtel and McAnally
Architects/Planners.
