Robert( Bob) R. Asadorian passed away peacefully on Saturday March 8, 2025, in his winter home of Tucson, Arizona. Son of Oscar and Zari Asadorian, Bob is survived by his daughter Lynn Madewell and granddaughter Nicole Madewell, and niece Zari Ballard and her son Sky. Bob leaves behind a legacy of people whose lives he so positively impacted over the years.
Born and raised in Providence, RI, Bob always loved life and lived it to the fullest. He often spoke of how, on the morning of his eighteenth birthday, his beloved older brother George whisked him off to California and how he never looked back. There, he went to college, toured local clubs as a jazz drummer and, later, became enthralled with big, fast cars like the Lincoln Continental that he drove for over 25 years. and gem shows buying and selling jewelry under the name Times Jewelry, a business his father started in the 1930’ s. His careers in later life included traveling the country as a crisis manager for FEMA and then becoming a banker at Huntington Bank.
However, by his own account, Bob’ s biggest achievement occurred somewhere in the middle, in his early 40’ s, at a Full Gospel Business Luncheon where he was introduced to Jesus Christ as his Lord

Wanda Stalnaker and Savior and became born again. A professed non-believer prior to the luncheon, Bob embraced this new way of life and pursued his new faith with total commitment and determination.
In the early 2000’ s, Bob created his own Christian outreach ministry that included hosting a weekly prayer line LIVE on local public television in Columbus. Bob did this for many years while continuing to work at FEMA and then at Huntington Bank. Bob also became a Chaplain at Ohio State hospital where he would spend his weekends and evenings, after a long day at work, going from room to room, praying with patients and their loved ones. Bob had such faith in the healing power of prayer over the sick that many of the hospital staff would often openly acknowledge his success … and, to that, Bob would give God all the glory.

Wanda Arlene Stalnaker, 82, of Coshocton passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Kankakee, IL to the late Howard and Dorothy( Mottinger) Wetmore.
Wanda was a member of the Freno Bible Church and enjoyed collecting various things.
She is survived by her daughters, Scherri Stalnaker of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Shirley( Ronald) DiBucci of Florida; grandchildren Sharlene, Valerie, Victoria( Chris), Veronica( Sean), Desiree( Stephen), Jeanette, Ashley, and Bobbi( Casey); 15 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and her special friend, Judy Harris.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stalnaker; daughter Salli verse was Mark 11:24:“ Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 KJV
When Bob prayed, he believed God’ s promises!
Bob often said he simply loved life and, indeed, he was grateful to God for the full life he’ d been given. We will miss him but, at the same time, we will rejoice that he is with Jesus and most likely still going door to door visiting the people that he led to Christ and watching over those that he has left behind.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at 12:00 pm with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating. Burial was held at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette, Ohio.

Pastor Dearyan will speak at next Lenten Luncheon
Pastor Neal Dearyan will be the speaker at the fifth Coshocton County Lenten Luncheon on Wednesday, April 2.
His message will address the theme“ Connecting to God Through Wisdom.” The luncheon will be held at The Presbyterian Church, 142 N. Fourth St., across from Court Square, from 11:45 a. m. to 12:45 p. m.
Dearyan is the pastor at Crossroads Baptist Church, formerly Chili Crossroads Bible Church. His congregation currently meets in the lower level of the Roscoe Village Visitor Center and holds special group gatherings at Kids America. His message will be based on the biblical text taken from Psalms 15 and 119. His wife Julie Dearyan will introduce him, read the scripture and provide special music.
Church Women United, led by Christa Citola, Kay Dunfee and Karen Bowman, coordinates the churches that provide the soups, pies and workers for each Luncheon. Members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes volunteer their time to assist the workers.

with the fifth luncheon will be New Life Ministries, Coshocton Christian Tabernacle and Solid Rock Foursquare Churches. The suggested $ 5 donation benefits Church Women United’ s Clothe a Child Project. The group purchased a new outfit and a pair of shoes for 100 children in Coshocton County in the past year.
Parking is available adjacent to the church and in the city parking lot at the rear of the church, accessible from Chestnut Street.
