VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
Voter registration will close on April 7th, 2025. The office will be open from 8 a. m.- 9 p. m. to accept registration forms. Registration and Information Updates can also be completed online at www. voteohio. gov.
TO REGISTER TO VOTE, YOU MUST:
1. Be a citizen of the United States. 2. Be at least 18 years old on or before the day of the next general election. 3. Be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days immediately before the election in which you want to vote. 4. Not be incarcerated( in prison or jail) for a felony conviction. 5. Not have been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a probate court. 6. Not have been permanently disenfranchised for violating the election laws.
Registration and Update Forms are available at the Board of Elections, the Coshocton County BMV, Coshocton Public Library, Coshocton County Treasurer’ s office, Coshocton County Job and Family Services, and Coshocton County WIC. You can also register or update your information online at www. voteohio. gov.

EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING:
Early Voting for the May 6, 2025 Special Election will begin on April 8th, 2025 in Room 155 of the Coshocton County Services building at 724 S. 7th Street in Coshocton. Hours for early in-person voting will be as follows:
Week One: April 8th-11th Tuesday- Friday 8:00 a. m.- 5:00 p. m.
Week Two: April 14th-18th Monday- Friday 8:00 a. m.- 5:00 p. m.
Week Three: April 21st-25th Monday- Friday 8:00 a. m.- 5:00 p. m.
Week Four: April 28th-May 4th Monday 7:30 a. m.- 7:30 p. m. Tuesday 7:30 a. m.- 8:30 p. m. Wednesday- Friday 7:30 a. m.- 7:30 p. m. Saturday 8:00 a. m.- 4:00 p. m. Sunday 1:00 p. m.- 5:00 p. m.
There is no longer any voting on the Monday before Election Day.
ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL:
Absentee Ballot Applications are currently being accepted. The deadline to submit an Absentee Ballot Application is April 29th.
We will begin mailing Absentee Ballots on May 8th and will mail them daily through April 29th.
