Father Gardner will speak at March 19 luncheon
The third Lenten Luncheon will be held Wednesday , March 19 with Father Tom Gardner of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish and St . Peter Parish in Millersburg as the speaker .
Father Gardner ’ s topic is “ Connecting to God Through Lament ” using the text from Psalms 13 and 22 . The luncheons begin at 11:45 a . m . and end at 12:45 p . m . They are held at The Presbyterian Church , 142 N . Fourth St ., across from Court Square .
Gardener earned a Master of Theology in Evangelization and Catechesis from the Pontifical College Josephinum and was ordained a priest in 2015 . He has served in parish assignments all over

Volunteers and God ’ s guidance are moving construction of the Crossroads Baptist Church right along .
“ With the grace of God , we are able to build with cash ,” Pastor Neal Dearyan said . “ We ’ ve had so many miracles .”
People from near and far have been giving their time to work on the building . When extra property was needed for a public right of way , the pieces came together .
“ God provided for us ,” Dearyan said .

“ There were guys here at 4:45 a . m ., and it wasn ’ t until we got back in our vehicles that the rain hit ,” Dearyan said .
These are just a few of the ways God has provided during the construction process , which is set to be complete by June . At that time the church will have all its ministries under one roof . In addition to Sunday services , the church has AWANA for kids and adult Bible study on Wednesdays , the Simple Steps Recovery program , day care and a school for children , and the Ohio Dyslexia Center .

Chef Mike Cichon and his culinary arts students at the Coshocton County Career Center will provide one of the soup selections . Donations received from those attending benefit Church Women United ’ s Clothe a Child project , which provides clothing and shoes for children in need in Coshocton County .
Parking remains an issue for those attending . Carpooling is a necessary objective to make sure there are enough parking spaces available . The parking area adjacent to the church should be considered as much as possible for handicapped individuals , even though those spaces will not be marked as handicapped .

The Crossroad Baptist Church will be located at 23247 County Road 621 in Coshocton .
“ Right now we are coming in under budget on everything but HVAC , but we know God meets needs ,” Dearyan said . “ The future of Coshocton County is so bright , and we are excited to have the opportunity to help make it even better .”
