CHS senior competes at pageant

Rachel Levi got a taste of the pageant world and is ready for more .
Levi , who is the current Miss Coshocton Teen USA , represented her community at the 2022 Miss Ohio USA / Miss Ohio Teen USA pageant held May 20-21 in Portsmouth .
“ I ’ m still waiting on my score sheet to come back , but it was really fun ,” Levi said . “ It was nerve wracking , but I definitely enjoyed it .”
During the pageant she had to go through an interview process and model sportswear and an evening gown .
“ I definitely learned how to be more confident ,” Levi said . “ I also learned not to care about others ’ opinions . It was incredible for me to be able to do this with my anxiety and panic disorder . I did great in my opinion and learned how to be kind to others and a lot about pageants .”
She plans to work on her platform and possibly organize a walk for mental health awareness . Levi also would like to
Marietta students are honored for academics
Marietta College ’ s Clay Davis of Coshocton was named to the spring 2022 dean ’ s list .
Davis is majoring in special education / elementary dual and is a graduate of Coshocton High School .
Any full-time Marietta College student completing at least 15
credit hours with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.74 in a given semester is recognized as a dean ’ s list student for that semester .
About 170 Marietta College students also were named to the spring dean ’ s high honors list , which features any fulltime student completing at least 15 credit hours with a GPA of 3.75 or better in a given semester .

Morgan Bryant is majoring in biology and is a graduate of Coshocton High School , and Shelby Byland is majoring in finance and is a graduate of River View High School .
