The Cardinal Chorale will be in concert on June 13
The Cardinal Chorale will be in concert at Roscoe United Methodist Church on Thursday , June 13 at 7 p . m . Organized in 1995 by its conductor Charles R . Snyder , the Cardinal Chorale is a select 40-voice traveling ensemble of high school and collegiate singers from around Ohio and neighboring states .
The chorale has sung at professional development conferences of the Ohio Music Education Association and the Ohio Choral Directors Association , three gubernatorial inaugurations , the rededication of the Ohio Statehouse , and a concert at Penn State University celebrating the 100th anniversary of Fred Waring ’ s birth .
Its six-day , sevenconcert tour will include concerts in Bowling Green , Findlay , Marion , Dayton , Bucyrus , Powell and Coshocton . The chorale ’ s 90-minute program will feature selections from its current show “ Walk Together .” Some selections on this concert will include “ Climb Ev ’ ry Mountain ,” “ Loch Lomond ,” “ Battle

Area chorale members include Aaron Bolz , Grace Cullison , Mason Gano , Julia Grimmett , L . J . Grimmett , Teigue Hardesty , Camryn Kaercher , Dakota Kealiher , Mattie Kiser , Ken Kittell , Emily Maple , Paige Nicely , Kailyn Shalosky , John Stamper , Aidan Stevens-Woolery , Brianna Stevens-Woolery , Connor Stevens-Woolery , Liam Stevens-Woolery , Sheldon Stotts , Finn Webb and Lilly Wells .
A recent chorale member said , “ Every performance I love seeing the joy on people ’ s faces . When I see the audience smiling and showing appreciation for our music , I ’ m enveloped with happiness of my own . I absolutely love getting to spread the sound of music to people across the state and impact their lives in a positive way .”
There is no admission charge for the concert , but an offering will be received to help cover the chorale ’ s tour expenses and provide scholarships for singers to participate in the ensemble .
Janet Faye Gosser , 85 , of Coshocton passed away Wednesday , May 29 , 2024 , at Alter Care of Coshocton . She was born in Dover , OH on April 27 , 1939 , to the late Ellwood John and Dorothy ( Lanzer ) Mason .
Janet graduated from Coshocton High School in 1957 , and worked in sales and as a manager at Wal- Mart for 17 years before retiring . She was a member of St . Johns United Church of Christ and attended Central Christian Church . She enjoyed reading , dancing , socializing with her friends , but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren .
Janet is survived by her children , Teresa ( Larry ) Bradford , Marty ( Robin ) Gosser , and Jana ( Mitch ) Bradford all of Coshocton ; grandchildren Larry

Funeral services for Janet were held on Tuesday at 11:00am with Pastor Stewart Royce and Philip Hunt officiating . Burial followed at South Lawn Cemetery .
