Steven Lee Hampton , 70 , passed away on June 20 , 2022 . He was born on Dec . 7 , 1951 , in Coshocton to Herbert Lee Hampton and June ( VanDusen ) Miller .
Steve was a 1970 graduate of Evergreen High School in Metamora . He played semi-professional
Ruth M . Bradford , 93 , of West Lafayette , passed away on Sunday , June 19 , 2022 . She was born on Sept . 3 , 1928 , in West Lafayette , to the late Clarence and Audrey ( Walker ) Fleming .
Ruth graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1947 , and then married Robert R . Bradford on June 3 , 1950 .
She was a member of the Plainfield United
football briefly in the Toledo area after graduating .
Steve was an active member of the Grand Lodge of F .& A . M . of Ohio and multiple organizations . He served as Master at the West Lafayette Masonic Lodge for three years and education officer for three years . Steve

Methodist Church . She was a wonderful baker and enjoyed gardening , crocheting , puzzles , ceramics and playing Bingo . Ruth was a loving and kind wife , mother and grandmother . She will be deeply missed by her family and friends .
Ruth is survived by her three children , Michael Bradford of New Philadelphia , Larry ( Teresa ) Bradford of Coshocton
was president / founding member of the Widows Sons Masonic R . A . Brothers of the Trail . Steve was a collector of unique items . He enjoyed working on vehicles , riding his Gold Wing and shooting the breeze with his friends . Steve will be missed by family and friends .

Steve is survived by a daughter , Cory Hampton of Canyon Lake , Texas ; parents , Laura June ( Van- Dusen ) Miller of West Lafayette and Herbert Lee Hampton of Uhrichsville ; two sisters , Carol Hampton of Fresno and Cheryl ( Warren ) Peiter of West Lafayette ; and numerous nieces , nephews and cousins .
Steve is preceded in death by stepfather , Paul Miller ; stepsister , Sandra Giesen ; and stepbrothers , Samuel and Gary Miller .
Calling hours will be Thursday , June 30 , 2022 ,
and Janice ( Craig ) Nichols of West Lafayette ; eight grandchildren ; 15 greatgrandchildren ; one greatgreat-grandchild ; and one brother , Jim Fleming of West Lafayette .
Along with her parents , Ruth is preceded in death by her husband , Robert who passed away on Dec . 30 , 2001 ; a son , Jeffery Bradford ; daughter-inlaw , Diane Bradford ; grandson , Derek Bradford ; two brothers , Robert and Clarence Fleming ; and a sister , Harriett Bales .
Calling hours were held on Thursday , June 23 , 2022 from 5-7 p . m . at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home . A funeral service was held on Friday , June 24 , 2022 at 11 a . m . with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating . Burial followed at Plainfield Cemetery .
from 6-7 p . m . at Bible Fellowship , 102 S Oak St . in West Lafayette , followed by a short funeral service with Pastor Jim Evans officiating . Following the funeral service , the West Lafayette Masonic Lodge will present their service at the Lodge , located at 121 S . Kirk Street , West Lafayette .
In lieu of flowers , donations can be made to West Lafayette Masonic Lodge or Aladdin Shriners .
The family is requesting that guests please wear masks .
