Above and Beyond
COSHOCTON – The Above and Beyond 4-H Club was in-
formed of various topics that were brought up at the last
meeting on June 25 at Keene United Methodist Church’s
Eight members gave demonstrations that ranged from
identifying cake decorating tools to showing what items
are needed for a breeding heifer fitting class.
Mandatory Quality Assurance training was com-
pleted. Goat, lamb, swine, and beef tag-‘m dates have
passed. Ownership papers were signed by all members
taking livestock projects, and several members reported
on topics discussed at different animal clinics.
In upcoming activities, 4-H camp will be the week of
July 5 – 9. Special interest project scores will be available
beginning July 7. Livestock evaluation signups began
June 23 and several skillathon dates will be quickly
approaching within the next handful of weeks.
The club’s next meeting will take place on Sunday, July
16 at 6:30 p.m. at Keene United Methodist Church.
