Kent to host virtual open h
Kent State University at
Tuscarawas will hold virtual
open houses on Wednesday,
June 10 or Thursday, July 9
from 2-6 p.m. Students who
are just starting their college
career, transfer students and
those with some college credits
but no degree are encouraged
to attend and can join the virtual
experience at www.kent.
edu/tusc/visit-campus.
During both virtual open
houses, prospective students
will be able to speak with
admissions counselors, complete
an application and have
the application fee waived.
Financial-aid specialists will
help with filing the FAFSA to
apply for financial aid.
Advisors from many
academic programs including
criminology and justice
studies, education, nursing,
engineering technology, and
agribusiness will be available
to provide information and
answer questions. Transfer
students also can receive a preliminary
transcript evaluation.
“The virtual open houses
are a great opportunity for
everyone to learn more about
the opportunities available at
Kent State Tuscarawas,” said
Kent State Tuscarawas is located at 330 University Drive NE in New Philadelphia.

Farm Bureau changes date
of ATV farm tour to July 11
The Coshocton County
Farm Bureau ATV tour will
be held Saturday, July 11 at
noon and will end with dinner
that evening.
Three farms will be featured
on the tour, which will
start and end at the Endsley
Farm on state Route 83.
Tickets are $40 for farm
bureau members and include
admission for one ATV and
two people including dinner.
Additional guests are
$15 each. Nonmembers are
$60 each for one ATV and
two people with additional
guests at $15 each.
All participants must sign
a waiver to participate. Tickets
are available by visiting
Endsley Agency in Coshocton
or calling the farm bureau
office at 740-452-2356.
