Serving as the museum ’ s 90th birthday party , extravagance and exaggeration are encouraged . Creativity is the staple for this event sponsored by the Friends of the Museum . Dressing to fit your table ’ s theme is vital to the atmosphere , and participants are asked to bring their own culinary creations and table decorations and service . The museum will provide tables , chairs and sparklers . Wine may be purchased by the bottle , and Wooly Pig Farm Brewery beer will be available for purchase by the glass .
At 6:15 p . m . tables may be set . At 7 p . m . the event formally begins with a toast to the museum and to the Dinner Under the Stars . A unified lighting of sparklers ends the gala , bidding each other good night . Creativity is encouraged with prizes awarded to the most elegant and the most creative tables .
Tickets for the event are $ 12 per person and $ 10 for Friends members . Diners are encouraged to prepurchase their wine and beer to ensure the right pairing for their menus . Patrons may purchase tickets and preorder wine and beer at the museum through its website or by phone . Tickets must be purchased by Friday , July 30 . The JHM ’ s liquor license does not permit participants to bring their own alcohol .

Letter to the Editor
Two years ago I made a decision to leave upstate New York to move to Coshocton to be near family . I have a health condition that limits how much walking I can do . Little did I know , toward the end of my first year of living in Ohio , I would undergo five surgeries on my right leg . Thus , I am currently with a knee brace and wheelchair much of the time .
CCCTA has been a huge blessing . Rarely a week goes by in which I don ’ t have a doctor ’ s appointment or physical therapy . These appointments are in Columbus , Zanesville and here in town . Although I drive with hand controls , I currently can only walk approximately 50 feet , and that ’ s with the use of a walker . Thus , I need to be transported for my appointments . All of my appointments are more than 50 feet of walking into the building , to the office , et cetera .

The CCCTA staff is wonderful . My initial phone conversation with Valerie was extremely helpful and thorough . Each time I call to book transportation , I am always treated in a friendly , professional manner . Rachel and the other coordinators work really hard to meet my scheduling needs .
For some of my transports , I am the only client on the bus / van . Other times there may be as many as six of us riding . All of

the drivers are nice , observant of needs and provide safe rides . Often during the rides , I have been learning about the history of Coshocton and enjoy the opportunity of meeting new people .
Lastly , I am thankful and so impressed CCCTA works with a variety of funding to help clients receive rides at very reasonable costs . Before learning of CCCTA , I was paying over $ 200 each way for my Columbus appointments . With CCCTA the cost is way below that amount .
I often let others know how much I appreciate CCCTA and tell them it ’ s one of the gems of Coshocton . Barbara Bergerson Coshocton
